Our Guarantee
Health
We offer two guarantees on our puppies. The first is a 30-day good health guarantee. It guarantees the pup against unexpected loss of life. The guarantee will be honored when the following is met:
First- you must take your puppy to your vet within 7 days of purchase for a well check
Second- you must inform us of any problems at that time
Third- you must obtain a written report from your vet explaining the reason of death
Fourth- we will not be responsible for any bills that may occur due to an illness or death of the puppy
Fifth- you must keep and submit all vet visit records
Sixth- with the requirements fulfilled, we will REPLACE your puppy with a puppy from our next litter. If the value of the replacement pup is more than the amount paid at the time of purchase, the buyer is responsible for the difference.
Hips
Large breed animals are at risk for certain types of joint related illness and disease. There are a few factors besides genetics that can attribute to such problems.
Overfeeding
Overfeeding is very common and can cause serious hip related problems in large breed dogs. Please do not allow your pup to feed freely. This can put a lot of unneeded weight on the pup causing too much stress on undeveloped joints. Slow and steady growth is key. Allow your pup to eat at designated times of day at recommended rates so that he/she may grow at a steady pace.
Injuries
Injuries are another cause hip related problems in large breeds. Please do not force exercise your pup until 18 months of age. No jumping, no fast running, no excessive activity. By 18 months your pup has begun to slow in growth and bones and joints can take the stress of more advanced exercise or activity. You can begin an exercise regimen of a brisk walk, ball retrieving, frisbee, bubble chasing, or scent discrimination activities.
If you feel your companion is going lame and suspect hip dysplasia we will offer the following replacement GUARANTEE if the following conditions are met:
The dog must NOT be older that 26 months old
The dog must NOT have produced any offspring
The dog must be in shape, not overweight, and in good health
You must be the original owner
You must provide us with all vet/health records
You must provide us with O.F.A records indicating a hip dysplasia diagnosis
You must contact us within 10 days of your findings
*This guarantee only covers genetic defects of the hips and does NOT cover any physical injuries due to your negligence.
*Claim for a replacement pup should be made in writing before the dog reaches 28 months old
*Proof of spay/neuter required
When the above requirements are met we will give you another pup from a litter of equal value and similar quality. **If the value of the new pup is greater than the original, the buyer will be responsible for the difference.
