Can your dog walk at heal on a leash? How about sit/stay/lay down on command? Do people often compliment your dog on his behavior? Does he get along well with children and other dogs? Is your dog's good-natured personality reliable and predictable in most any situation? Congratulations! You and your dog can be rewarded for your efforts. By taking and passing the C.G.C test, your dog can become a "certified" good citizen by the American Kennel Club. You can be rewarded as well for being a responsible dog owner with a certificate. All breeds are welcome! Training your dog for C.G.C or any other event allows you to bond with your dog and often leads to more advanced formal competitions.
